The Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC) announced today the results of the electronic draw for purchasing residential land through the Real Estate Balance Platform (Tawazoun), following the completion of all procedures related to verifying applicants’ eligibility and reviewing objections submitted prior to the draw.
The electronic draw was conducted under the supervision of an independent committee comprising representatives from the RCRC, the Ministry of Justice, the Real Estate General Authority, the Riyadh Municipality, and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA). The draw was carried out using advanced technical systems to ensure fairness and equal opportunity for all eligible applicants, said the commission.
It confirmed that the final draw results are now available on Tawazoun, where eligible beneficiaries can view the status of their applications and complete the required subsequent procedures, including reviewing the details of the allocated plots and following the next steps electronically.
A total of 10,024 plots were allocated this year through the platform.
The electronic draw results include identifying the locations of the residential plots allocated to beneficiaries, with a total area of 6.38 million square meters, distributed across several locations within the urban fabric of Riyadh and in multiple sites currently under design. These are located in the districts of Al-Qirawan, Al-Malqa, Al-Nakheel, Al-Narjis, Namar, Al-Rimayah, Al-Rimal, and Al-Janadriyah, with each plot measuring 300 square meters.
The commission also stated that the upcoming steps for beneficiaries will also be conducted through the platform and include off-plan sales procedures, site handover, and completion of construction phases.
It added that this track will continue beyond this year, with new batches to be offered over the next four years, thus helping achieve a balance in the real estate sector.
This comes in implementation of the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, to take the necessary measures to achieve balance in the real estate sector in Riyadh, including the RCRC’s efforts to provide planned and developed residential land for citizens.
