In celebration of the beautiful game, Pepsi is offering football lovers across the Kingdom a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the fun and pageantry of the 2023 UEFA Champions League final in style. The global food and beverage company has launched yet another exciting football-themed campaign, giving 40 lucky fans in Saudi Arabia the chance to win several Champions League prizes and enjoy the ultimate Pepsi ZERO experiences.
Immersing fans in the glitz and glamour of the biggest match on the European football calendar, Pepsi is inviting consumers around the Kingdom to enter the running to rub shoulders with a glittering lineup of superstars.
Passionate football supporters can get the chance to win an all-expenses trip to Istanbul to watch the upcoming final, joining Saudi football greats, Samy El Jaber, Farah Jefry and Mohammed Alowais.
Topping it all off, the chosen winners will be given exclusive access to a selection of Pepsi fan zones during the Champions League final, taking their Pepsi Zero experience to new heights. Additionally, one lucky fan will get the golden opportunity to share the spotlight with one of the world’s biggest artists: Burna Boy, the Afrobeats sensation. The selected fan will take to the stage with the music star as part of the pre-final ceremony — right before kick-off — performing a medley of the popular musician’s famous hits.
Fans across the Kingdom can enter the Pepsi Zero experiences and draw through a range of channels. They can do so by visiting their local retail store, to scan & play with Pepsi to win tickets. Participants can also enter the draw when visiting selected restaurants across the Kingdom.
As part of the Pepsi Zero campaign, the brand has also launched a live, in-person activation in partnership with Vox Cinemas. The Vox stunt delighted local cinemagoers, with Samy El Jaber making a surprise appearance at a recent film screening and rewarding four moviegoers with special UEFA Champions League prizes, including tickets to see the eagerly anticipated final.
To ensure as many fans as possible get the chance to revel in the magic of the big game, Pepsi also partnered with a diverse range of global superstars and Saudi footballers to launch a series of online and digital challenges. Over the course of the campaign, the famous players took to the internet to issue a call-to-action to fans around the country, urging them to share videos showing off their football skills and tricks to win Champions League final tickets and the opportunity to star in the final’s kickoff show alongside Burna Boy.
As part of its commitment to connecting fans to their passions and putting more smiles on consumer’s faces, the prize winners will be treated to a premium, luxury experience. In addition to flying private to Istanbul and travelling with the stars, the lucky winners will also be provided limo services and private charters throughout their stay in Turkey.
