NWC starts implementing 14 water and environmental projects in Qassim worth SR +561 million

The National Water Company (NWC), represented by its Northern Cluster, has started the implementation of 14 water and sanitation projects in different parts of the Qassim region. The total cost amounts to more than 561 million Saudi riyals to increase the supply of water and environmental services, improve their quality and meet the growing demand for them.

 

 NWC stated that the environmental projects launched in the Qassim region include 7 projects with a total value of about 283 million Saudi Riyals, with the length of sewerage channels and networks exceeding 329,000 meters, as well as the construction of a lifting station with a capacity of 1,350 cubic meters per day.

 

 The company added that the water projects started in Qassim also include 7 projects with a total value of more than 278 million Saudi Riyals, with the length of networks and pipelines exceeding 833,000 meters, in addition to the implementation of the water roads system for the lines of Al-Mukharram and Umm Hazm wells.    

 

 NWC stressed that these projects are part of its objectives and strategies, which include expanding the provision of water and environmental services to keep pace with the growing demand for services, in addition to improving the quality of life and services provided to the population in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
