MAZOLA RESTORES FAITH IN HUMANITY BY SUPPORTING REFUGEES IN THE MIDDLE EAST

The refugee and displacement problem is one of the most complex humanitarian issues facing the Middle East today. With more than four million Syrians fleeing their home country and seeking refuge in neighbouring Middle Eastern countries it is obvious that this is one of the largest refugee evacuations in recent history.

In response to the growing refugee humanitarian crisis, Mazola has stepped up their response to support the Syrian refugees. Joining efforts with the Jordan Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO) which operates under Royal guidance and George and Sami Khoury & Co (GSK) their distributors in Jordan, Mazola has donated Mazola food products and blankets amongst the needy, throughout sites in Jordan. The food and blanket supply has successfully reached more than 5,000 families.

Mazola staff, their brand ambassador Hatun Madani, members of GSK distribution company and refugee organizations in Jordan have been giving first hand assistance to the refugees. Their efforts have comprised of personally handing out the donated food and blanket supplies as well as assisting them with other difficulties they may be facing during their less than ideal situation.

Simon Gottfried, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, Middle East & North Africa said, “I’m sure we would all agree that we are facing a word crisis. It is everybody’s responsibility to help and restore the faith we once had in humanity. We are all one people and it is time we all came together to provide urgent assistance in whatever way we can to those in need”.

The kind and compassionate nature displayed by Mazola definitely explains why they have become one of the leading household names in the Middle East.
