Lufthansa surprises Frankfurt-Jeddah passengers on 50th anniversary

:Lufthansa marked its 50th anniversary of connecting Frankfurt and Jeddah today, 7 May, by welcoming the unsuspecting passengers on board the flight LH 652 with an array of surprises and giveaways. The airline also live-streamed the long-haul flight operated by wide-body Airbus A330-300 on Lufthansa’s Snapchat account, with its crew, which included two Arabic speaking members, highlighting the company’s milestones and achievements over the last five decades.

As part of the celebration, Lufthansa has also launched a 50 percent discount offer when purchasing two Business or Premium Economy tickets to European destinations fortravel between 1 June 2019 and 31 March 2020.  Lufthansa customers travelling from Jeddah to Frankfurt, and then continuing to Barcelona, Berlin, Geneva, Hamburg, London, Madrid, Manchester, Munich, Paris, or Rome, can take advantage of the four-day promotion which runs from 7-10 May.
