Lana opens medical waste plant in Aseer Province

Lana Medical Co. (environmental segment) opened a high-risk medical waste treatment plant in Aseer Province after securing the necessary regulatory approvals and licenses, according to a Tadawul statement.

The plant will serve the Aseer region and southern Saudi Arabia, providing high-standard facilities and equipment for the healthcare and environmental sectors.

With this new addition, the company’s daily operational capacity in the Kingdom is set to exceed 85 tons.

The financial impact of the plant is anticipated to be reflected in Q4 2024 results, the statement said.
