KidZania Celebrates Two Years of Partnership with MOE and Education Partners

KidZania Kuwait, the exciting kid-sized metropolis, has hosted a special event to pay tribute to its partners from Kuwait’s educational sector- the Ministry of Education and  the Department for Private and Public Education, along with various schools across Kuwait. 

Among the guests at the event were Ms. Mona Al Furaih, honorary guest from the Ministry of Education; Mr. Faisal Al Maqseid, Assistant Undersecretary for Development and Educational Activities at the Ministry of Education; and Mr. Abdullah Al Basri, General Manager at the Department for Private Education. 

Fernando Medroa, Vice President of Leisure and Entertainment at M.H. Alshaya, paid tribute to the partnership between Kidzania and Kuwait’s education sector: “We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to all our educational partners - the Ministry of Education, the Department for Private and Public Education, and the different schools who have been the greatest supporters of KidZania since we first opened in 2013.

“Being an educational and a child-centric brand, our educational partners have shared the same vision, objectives and goals as ours to help children embark on a unique educational journey – all while learning new skills that help them get ready for a better world,” he added.  

The event included a video that highlighted the major milestones KidZania has achieved over the past two years in collaboration with its educational partners and the Ministry of Education. These include the annual Kids for a Greener World program, which teaches kids about the importance of recycling and keeping the environment clean.

The video also followed a child’s journey and experience at KidZania, from pick-up to drop-off, including the measures that have been put in place to ensure the safety and security of the young visitors. 

The event concluded with recognizing KidZania’s educational partners for their countless efforts in supporting its development for the past two years, especially the Ministry of education and its key representatives.
