Juma Al Majid Est marks four-decade partnership with CEO of Hyundai Motor Company

CEO Mr. Jae-Hoon ‘Jay’ Chang from Seoul visited the Hyundai and Genesis showroom in Dubai

 

Juma Al Majid Est, the exclusive distributors for Hyundai and Genesis in the UAE, was delighted to host the presence of Hyundai Motor Company President and CEO Mr. Jae-Hoon ‘Jay’ Chang this week.

 

On Monday 12 December, the head of the Korean car brand visited the showroom in Dubai – where the first Hyundai presence was in the early days of the country – to coincide with forty years of the successful partnership. As part of the visit, Abdullah and Majid Al Majid, members of the Juma Al Majid Holding Group, Omar Al Zubaidi, Head of Genesis Middle East and Africa and Suliman AlZaben, Director of Hyundai and Genesis UAE, were present.

 

The trip from Seoul was met with great anticipation by the team at Hyundai UAE. Mr. Chang was presented with a thank you trophy in appreciation of his time and as a token of commemoration for the fruitful long-term relationship between the two companies.

Over the years, Juma Al Majid Est has fulfilled great achievements for the Hyundai brand, including a number of CSR initiatives, a strategic partnership with Fujairah Police to install mobile charging spots inside police stations, and the Hyundai UAE Training Academy that was launched in 2019 to empower 

 

its workforce. Additionally, the Dubai Police General Command added the first SUV from Hyundai’s premium brand, the Genesis GV80, to its fleet of luxury patrol cars, in 2021 and in line with the Dubai 

 

2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, Hyundai UAE launched a number of EV charging stations to complement the release of Hyundai’s EV offerings.

 

Mr. Chang’s visit comes at a time when Hyundai UAE’s strides are proving particularly impressive and are a source of pride for the brand.
