Ihab A. Khalil has just assumed the role of Partner & Managing Director of BCG Middle East’s Financial Services/Principal Investors & Private Equity (PIPE) practice – one of the firm’s key priority areas in the region. Based in Dubai, Khalil’s new position will see him offer a constellation of specialized consulting services to a slew of regional investment institutions, sovereign wealth funds (SWFs), banks and family offices.
Khalil’s expertise currently lies in corporate and investment strategy formulation, asset allocation strategies, portfolio review and restructuring, due diligence and M&A support, large-scale transformations and corporate governance.
“Ihab’s appointment is part of BCG Middle East’s wider strategy to establish a dedicated, robust Financial Services/PIPE practice, one especially designed to help major regional financial players thrive in today’s complex and sensitive economic climate – and amidst volatile markets,” explained Joerg Hildebrandt, BCG Middle East Managing Partner. “Given Ihab’s wealth of experience – which spans over 15 years – we have no doubt that, with him at the helm, our financial sector clients will be fully equipped to effectively face industry-specific obstacles and capture new growth opportunities.”

Khalil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the American University of Beirut and an MBA from INSEAD.
