His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority inaugurated today the 19th edition of the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai) which is held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. AEEDC Dubai 2015 witnesses this year a huge participation from a number of regional and international officials, heads of delegation, and representatives from 130 countries, and more than 1,600 exhibiting companies.

Following the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid toured the exhibition area, and explored the latest medical devices, technologies and equipment displayed by prominent companies in the dental field from around the world. His Highness was delighted by hearing from the exhibitors about the latest technologies and accomplishments that the manufacturing companies had reached in the field of dentistry.

After the tour, His highness expressed his delight in the great success and development that the conference and the exhibition is witnessing year after year. His Highness was impressed by the annual growth that AEEDC Dubai achieves every year, as the exhibition has increased by 15% this year. H.H. was also delighted by the number of companies participating in the exhibition and the number of dentists participating in the conference. His highness assured his great support to this conference and his constant support for it as he expects it to rank the first internationally in the coming years.





From his side, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, the Executive Chairman of AEEDC Dubai Conference and Exhibition and the Global Dental Scientific Alliance stated that: “AEEDC Dubai retains its number one position among MENASA region and remains to be the 2nd largest in the world. We are also proud that AEEDC Dubai was recognized as a scientific and tourism establishment by 130 countries and it was registered accordingly.”

From his side, Dr. Mohammed Abedin, Scientific Vice Chairman added: “AEEDC Dubai 2015 hosts this year three new international co-operations, that include the Olympic Committee for Sports Medicine, which is having its annual meeting in cooperation with AEEDC 2015 to discuss all the possible aspects of Dental Traumatology. AEEDC will also host the annual meeting of the Arabian Academy of Aesthetic Dentistry, which will witness top-notch speakers and opinion-leaders in this field. Finally, a symposium dedicated purely to daily aesthetics and functional problems of Implantology by the world-famous DentalXP Implantology platform and that is taking place for the 1st time outside of USA. In addition to this, and because we have already crossed the English speaking boarders, AEEDC has turned towards the French speaking Dental Community this year with 1 full day of in demand topics.”

AEEDC Dubai represents an important platform for reputed speakers to share valuable and up-to-date knowledge, to exchange information in the dental field, and to gain CME points. The conference program will include more than 150 lectures delivered by 150 speakers to cover various topics that include the Endodontics, Infection Control, Laser in Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Oral Implantology, Oral Pathology, Orthodontics, Pediatric Dentistry and Restorative Dentistry.

AEEDC Advanced Specialty Courses will be running parallel to AEEDC's conference and will provide advanced and updated theoretical and methodological approaches.
