Grand Millennium Business Bay distributes lunch boxes to RTA taxi drivers

In keeping with the festive spirit of giving, the initiative is part of the hotel’s CSR programme

Grand Millennium Business Bay, the newest 5-star property by the Millennium Hotels & Resorts located along Marasi Drive yesterday distributed more than 150 lunch boxes to Dubai’s Road and Transport Authority (RTA) taxi drivers.

The initiative was part of the hotel’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, in keeping with the festive spirit of giving. The hotel also organised this initiative to allow RTA taxi drivers to be familiar with Grand Millennium Business Bay’s location when dropping off and picking up hotel guests.

Alaa Badawi, Security Manager of Grand Millennium Business Bay led the distribution, which started at 11am. Each box comprises chicken biryani, fruit and a water bottle, prepared by the hotel’s culinary team.

Badawi commented: “We would like to thank RTA for their support of our awareness programme. The taxi drivers are happy to receive their lunch box. Now it is easier for them to reach our hotel because they are now familiar with our location.”

The 251-room Grand Millennium Business Bay hotel caters to a mix of leisure and business travellers and features seven F&B venues, 11 fully equipped meeting rooms brimming with natural daylight, a 455 square metre ballroom, spa, health club and swimming pool.
