Governor of Riyadh sponsors “collective wedding initiative” for people with motor disabilities

Based on it sincere belief in the importance of social responsibility, Arabian Oud the largest fragrance manufacturer and retailer around the world specializing in incense, oriental perfumes and oil perfumes, supported the collective wedding initiative for people with motor disabilities, organized by the motor disability society for adults "Harakia", on Monday 29th of May 2016, and held at the King Fahd cultural Center in Riyadh headquarters.

 

The association wedded two hundred young men and women during the sixth collective wedding ceremony, sponsored by HRH Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdul Aziz, Riyadh Governor, may Allah protect him and graced with the attendance of HRH Princess Hessa bint Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, may Allah protect her. 

 

 At the end of the ceremony, Arabian Oud granted 400 gifts for the participants, and "Harakia" society presented Mr. Suliman AL-Huwaysin, representative Arabian Oud Company with an honorary shield in recognition of the company’s constant support of social and charitable initiatives in the Saudi society.

 

In light of this event, Mr. Suliman Alhuwaysin, Director of administrative affairs at Arabian Oud said: “We strongly believe in the need for unified and consolidated efforts of all sectors, private and NGO for the support of our local community. This initiative comes as part of our social responsibility program that aims at serving and supporting people with physical disabilities, through highlighting the need of integrating them with the rest of the community members in all social and professional aspects, and supporting them in achieving their different aspirations and requirements". 

 

It is noteworthy that the assistance program by the “motor disability for adults” society, is designed to help people with disabilities integrate in public life and to support them in building a family. The society has contributed to help 850 young men and women with motor disabilities, and is keen on preserving the rights granted to them by the government. 

 

It is worth mentioning that Arabian Oud known today for being the world’s largest oriental perfume company, initiated its activities in 1982.
