Dubai Courts shine at GITEX Global 2023 by presenting its latest digital technologies

During its participation in the 43rd edition of GITEX Global 2023, taking place from October 16 to 20 at the Dubai World Trade Center, Dubai Courts will showcase their latest innovative projects and digital technologies. These innovations represent a significant step forward in enhancing Dubai's judicial system, with a focus on transforming Dubai into a leading global hub. Among the highlights are the automated teller system service, the notary's fast track service, and remote civil marriage. This aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the State and Ruler of Dubai, who aims to establish a smart and integrated city with a strong focus on digital technology-driven government services.

During his participation in the current edition of the exhibition, His Excellency Tarish Eid Al Mansouri, President of Dubai Courts, highlighted remarkable developments in the realm of digital technologies that Dubai Courts are set to introduce. These advancements are aimed at serving the public and improving the efficiency of the judicial system. Among these innovative digital technologies designed to streamline access to justice and expedite litigation procedures is the ATM service. Previously, this service relied on multiple departments to complete the transfer of deposited funds to the Court Treasury. However, with the activation of the ATM system, the relevant departments' disbursement procedures are now automated and executed within one business day or less.

Al Mansouri also emphasized the significance of the fast track service for notary services in delivering automated, precise, and swift digital services to customers, thereby elevating their satisfaction and happiness while streamlining processes for them through reduced wait times. Al Mansouri underlined that the 'Remote Civil Marriage' service is a part of Dubai Courts' ongoing commitment to establish civil law frameworks for non-Muslims, in accordance with new procedures aligned with the Personal Status Law for Non-Muslim Foreigners. This initiative supports the continuous evolution of the judicial system and simplifies procedures.

Al Mansouri concluded his statement by underscoring Dubai Courts' dedication to establishing a secure and trustworthy digital environment. This environment aims to provide individuals with easy and swift access to judicial services, rooted in the belief that innovation and technology serve as the cornerstones for progress and the ongoing enhancement of the judicial system.
