Dubai Courts Achieve Unprecedented Digital Milestones in Notary Transactions in the First Half of 2024

The Dubai Courts, represented by the Notary Public Department, have successfully delivered outstanding digital services to its clients in the first half of 2024. Such an achievement has significantly enhanced customer satisfaction and happiness. The initiative is part of their strategy to ensure effective justice and provide accessible judicial services to all.

 

Mr. Ahmed Al-Howsani, Director of the Notary Public Department at the Dubai Courts, revealed that the department has successfully completed a significant number of digital transactions. The total number of digital transactions for the public notary reached 98,330, while the private notary digital transactions amounted to 74,830. These were carried out through offices spread across the emirate. Furthermore, the number of electronic notary transactions via the fast track (without human intervention) reached 2,716. This has elevated the digital transformation rate of notary services in Dubai to 99.36%.

 

Al-Howsani clarified that these achievements are part of the Dubai Courts’ strategy to enhance digital transformation and provide smart, easily accessible services. These efforts reflect the courts’ commitment to realising the Dubai Government’s vision of transitioning into a smart city. They are also part of ongoing endeavours to boost the efficiency of judicial services and achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

 

Clients can access digital notary services through multiple channels. These include the Dubai Courts’ website using a username, as well as the public notary branches at “Wafi Mall” and “Al Barsha Traffic”. Services are also available through private notaries, law offices, and Al Adheed centres accredited by the Dubai Courts to provide specific judicial services. These measures are aimed at enhancing happiness standards and achieving the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

 

Al-Howsani affirmed that the digital transformation in notary services is part of ongoing efforts to foster innovation and sustainable development in government services. This is in line with Dubai’s vision to become the smartest and happiest city in the world. These efforts are part of the Dubai Courts’ commitment to provide distinguished judicial services that align with the aspirations of the wise leadership and contribute to enhancing the emirate’s position as a global centre for innovation and excellence.
