Danat Al Ain Resort concluded their successful three-day participation at the Jeddah Travel and Tourism Exhibition (JTTX) with increased and renewed interest from the KSA market, one of the most important markets for the property.
Held from 3rd – 5th February in Jeddah, Mr Khaled Khedr, Director of Sales and Marketing of Danat Al Ain Resort met with existing clients and potential partners in a bid to further strengthen its presence in the growing KSA market.
“JTTX is the major travel and tourism exhibition in KSA and our participation is crucial to secure our share of the KSA market. Our strategy is also to maximize our share of this market. In this regard we are keen to participate and offer very attractive packages and promotions to attract the attention of major corporate firms in Saudi, MICE organizers and holiday makers. Our participation in the yearly event will bring more exposure and awareness of Danat Hotels and Resorts' accommodation, recreation and MICE facilities,” according to Mr Khedr.
The GCC market is a key source market of UAE’s tourism industry and forms 70% of the total guests at Danat Al Ain Resort. Every year the property participates in the Jeddah exhibition to learn the latest travel trends and also to promote the property to other potential markets.
Mr Khedr added: “We realized that some competitive markets like Turkey, Malaysia and Singapore are promoting their destination with heavily participation, promotions and more facilities like charter flights and competitive hotel deals so these are some of the strategies that we look into when attending travel shows.”
