The second day of the Saudi Agricultural Exhibition continues, which commenced on Monday, October 23rd and will extend until Thursday, October 26th, under the auspices of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture. The exhibition is considered the largest event related to the agricultural sector in the region with the latest innovations, technologies, pioneering solutions, and advanced agricultural engineering on display, highlighting prospects, aspirations, and developments underway in the Kingdom.
During his participation in a panel session titled "Strategy for Sustainable Development of Agriculture the CEO of the National Company for Agricultural Services “AgriServ,” Eng. Omar bin Mohammed Al-Suhaibani, highlighted: “The company's goals encompass elevating operational efficiency, enhancing the quality of services provided to beneficiaries, and fostering the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices and modern technology. The overarching aim is to improve the quality and safety of agricultural crops, livestock, and fisheries.”
The company participated in a pavilion that featured an introductory presentation, its objectives, and the services it provides including plant, animal, and fishery resources. Additionally, a workshop was held to showcase the company's efforts and the services assigned by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, which include quarry services, support in issuing licenses, permits, certificates and the registration of production inputs.
The company's pavilion also showcased the trial version of the "Agricultural Services" application, which is designed to connect beneficiaries and service providers with industry-leading standards to help develop the quality of agricultural services.
Through its operations, “AgriServ” seeks to provide sustainable, first-rate services to advance the sector and achieve food security in the Kingdom.
