The Canadian Business Council Abu Dhabi will be hosting its Annual Gala, the Maple Leaf Ball, on Thursday April 16, 2015 marking its 10th Anniversary. The notable black tie event sponsored by Qasimi Law Partners, AECOM, Apparel Group, Etihad Airways and supported by Park Rotana Hotel and Iris Media, will gather members and business affiliates to celebrate Canadian commercial success in the UAE at the Park Rotana Hotel.

A fun filled program awaits the guests as they will be indulged by a Canadian Fiddler and a world renowned hypnotist performing live during the evening.

The Maple Leaf Award – Recognising a Canadian citizen residing in the UAE who has provided an outstanding contribution to the UAE business community, the Council is delighted to announce that this year's Maple Leaf Award goes to: Andre Sayegh, CEO of FGB.

As 2015 coincides with 20 years of the Terry Fox Run in the UAE and 35 years since the run started in Canada, the Terry Fox Run Abu Dhabi Committee will see its outstanding efforts highlighted on stage.
