BMC strengthens ties with Steelcase in Kuwait

BMC, the leading workplace solutions company, hosted senior delegation from Steelcase in Kuwait this week including its Vice President – Sales, Business Group South, Alessandro Centrone. Steelcase is the global market leader in creation and innovation of working environments, and works in partnership with BMC in Kuwait.

 

Since 1978, Steelcase and BMC have been serving the Kuwait market in the provision of high-quality workplace solutions, and have managed to deliver a wide range of high profile projects for Kuwait businesses, government ministries, educational institutions and healthcare facilities.

 

Notable key projects include the new Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Hospital project will be the largest medical centre in the State of Kuwait, providing 1,168 beds together with state of the art medical services to a projected population of 600,000 in the South Surra area.

 

BMC and Steelcase were also successful in their recent bid to supply Kuwait University with furniture for its College of Engineering & Petroleum (COEP).

 

Salem Taha, Division Manager – Office Furnishing Solutions at BMC said:  “Steelcase is a long-standing and highly valued partner of our business and their recent visit to Kuwait provided an excellent platform to explore how we can continue to work together to offer first-class solutions to our customers.

 

Mr. Taha continued: “Additionally, the visit by their senior team offered an opportunity to consider how we best service the growing education and healthcare sectors in Kuwait, two sectors in which we have a particular strength.”

 

Mohammed Al-Arab, Business Manager – BMC, added: “It was an honor to host Alessandro and his management team in Kuwait, and a pleasure to visit key customers together and explore areas of potential growth. Our board was pleased that they had time to attend a formal lunch at the residence of Mr. Omar Al-Yaqout, our Chairman, and the Diwaniya, an important institution in Kuwait business life.”

 

Alessandro Centrone, of Steelcase, added: “Thank you to the team at BMC and the Al-Yaqout family for hosting us in Kuwait. It was a valuable opportunity to strengthen our ties, increase our understanding of the evolving market, and to explore prospects to further enhance our offering to existing as well as potential Kuwait-based customers.“
