In addition to its series of awards received for the year 2015, Bank Aljazira recently won the award for “Best Remittance – ME (Fawri). This award was given to BAJ by the Banker Magazine – Middle East during the sixth anniversary of the Islamic Business and Finance Awards which recognizes the very best in Islamic/Sharia compliant Banking, and Financial institution a flagship of the Islamic Business and Finance.
On behalf of BAJ, the award was received by Sami Al Rajhi, Bank Aljazira’s Senior Vice President and Fawri Banking Services Group at a ceremony held in Dubai in the presence of a group of managers and leaders of several large banks and financial institutions.
BAJ was able to launch remittance services within the strategy of opening a total number of 30 instant money transfer services since the beginning of the inauguration of the first Fawri center in late December 2013, and achieve this award as the number of customers and the high market share of instant foreign exchange dealings and transformation within the latest technology available in the Fawri centers across the KSA.
This award will serve as a milestone for Fawri and will serve as an inspiration to all BAJ staff that will remind them of their dedication and hard work and continuously improve in order to give their clients the best of service they deserve.
Fawri centers are stated to be committed to the rules and regulations promulgated by the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency (SAMA) and the policies of Bank AlJazira Foundation.
