The NGK Racing Series had their opening round at Yas Marina Circuit a couple of weeks ago, and round two took place at the home track of the championship.

Saudi driver Alqassim Hamidaddin, who missed the first round in Abu Dhabi, took part in Round 2 at Dubai Autodrome and secured two victories in class2 of the NGK Race Series. Entering his first season of the NGK Race Series, Alqassim was ecstatic about the results from his first two races in the championship and is looking forward to the next rounds, “I praise God for these great results and thank my sponsors Petromin and 3M for their continued support, and hope to continue collecting points for the championship. I missed the first two races in round one in Abu Dhabi and need to continue achieving good results in the next rounds to fight for the championship”

Alqassim praised the Dubai Autodrome and the NGK Racing Series as one of the best championships he has been involved with and added, “I would like to thank and congratulate the staff at Dubai Autodrome for organizing the NGK Racing Series as it is one of the most enjoyable championships to race in. The support race car drivers receive from the organizers brings out the best in us and enables us to focus on racing”

The NGK Racing Series will have five more rounds for the 2015/2016 season, and will continue in January 29-30 2016, for round three at Dubai Autodrome.
