Alkhorayef Water inks SAR 87.2 mln contract with NWC

Alkhorayef Water and Power Technologies Co. (AWPT) signed a contract worth SAR 87.2 million (excluding VAT) with National Water Co. (NWC) for the operation and maintenance of water and sewage networks as well as their accessories in Buraidah, the company said in a statement to Tadawul.

The contract will extend for 36 months, added the company, expecting the related financial impact to appear in Q1 2024.

The contract included no related parties, stated the company, indicating that it received the contract upon signing on Jan. 2, 2024.

In November, AWPT won a contract worth SAR 87.18 million to operate and maintain water and sewage networks and their accessories in the Buraidah region, argaam reported.
