Khalid Al-Hussan, CEO of Saudi Tadawul Group, opened today, May 9, the international edition of the Capital Markets Forum 2024 in Hong Kong.
The event, held in cooperation with Hong Kong Stock Exchange, embodies the strategic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong at the level of capital markets and investment opportunities.
Al-Hussan said at the forum that Saudi Arabia was in constant communication with international investors, index providers, and financial institutions, noting that this led to attracting capital from foreign investors to the Saudi market; hence, their investments rose from almost zero in 2016 to $106 billion currently.
Foreign cash flows increased significantly within a short time, Al-Hussan said, noting that the Saudi market has undergone a major transformation process to support the economic transformation in Saudi Arabia as per Vision 2030.
