Crown Prince launches Riyadh Non-Profit Foundation

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Prime Minister and Chairman of the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC), announced today the launch of the Riyadh Non-Profit Foundation and the formation of its board of directors.

RCRC issued a decision to form the foundation's board of directors, headed by the Crown Prince. RCRC's CEO Ibrahim Al Sultan was also named Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the foundation, state-owned news agency SPA reported.

The foundation aims to support and develop institutional and social work, as well as encourage research, studies, and social activities. It also seeks to enhance community contribution to developing non-profit sector programs in areas related to the foundation's goals. This is in addition to consolidating the culture of social work.

Furthermore, the new entity focuses on achieving social development by empowering all segments of society, strengthening social cohesion, and contributing to preserving the identity of the Riyadh community. In addition, the foundation will work with government agencies and non-profit institutions to develop job opportunities in the social sector.
