Minister of Human Resources and Social Development Ahmad bin Sulaiman AlRajhi launched, today, the employee loyalty program (DOAM). The program offers a package of exclusive offers to public employees through a network of more than 2,500 service providers across the Kingdom, benefiting more than 1.2 million employees.
In a statement by the Ministry, Al-Rajhi said the program comes within the framework of the leadership’s directions to develop the government sector, achieve the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in investing in and developing human capital, and implement the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development’s strategy to improve government performance.
The program is a product of the Ministry and its partners, aiming to provide public employees and their families with various benefits that meet their daily needs.
The top official reviewed the most prominent achievements in the civil service sector, including the implementation of over one million transactions on the Masar platform in 2022. The platform supports and develops human resources in government agencies, and has benefited over 600 government agencies and 4.3 million beneficiaries.
The Ministry sought to improve the indicators of the employee engagement index (EEI) for public employees, exceeding the goals of Vision 2030. It also conducted electronic performance appraisals of public employees, the Minister explained.
Among those achievements was the launch of the central system for job information in the public sector and the strategic workforce planning program; the implementation of the Saudi Standard Classification of Occupations; and the development of the Employee Discipline Law and its implementing regulations.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, through DOAM program, aims to create a stimulating and productive work environment through developing standards that contribute to promoting a culture of job excellence in government agencies, raising the productivity of public employees, and developing job engagement.
