Canon Middle East, a leader in imaging solutions, participated at the 37th GITEX Technology Week showcasing business solutions and applications that cater to the direct needs of companies and organisations; underlining Canon’s position as a ‘Partner of Choice’ for customers. The new ‘Explore, Inspire, Improve’ business value proposition aims to fully support businesses across all industries in the region to increase productivity, efficiency and ensure sustainable development in the long-term.
The technological evolution of Canon products and services for businesses allows for streamlining of processes and achieving growth through business wide digital transformation. Canon is exploring the changing world of business and data, and is helping customers address their challenges, improve their business and differentiate. As a result, Canon’s new value proposition was developed in response to rapid market change and the rise of digitised working.
“We are inspiring our customers to find better ways of achieving their goals; helping them explore opportunities and guiding them on a path towards growth, increased efficiencies and profitability, in a fast evolving, increasingly digitalised and global marketplace,” said Shadi Bakhour, B2B Business Unit Director for Canon Middle East said, “At this year’s GITEX we are introducing our new value proposition where we have identified five key domains to address our customers’ challenges so they can focus on what they do best. Above all we want to provide a holistic solution to business challenges, rather than just delivering products and services, so our customers stand out in a multi-channel, switched on world.”
The five key domains identified by Canon are Differentiate, Accelerate, Transform, Evolve and Simply, with each pillar targeting a business process through a series of applications. These applications are in the form of a software developed to addresses a specific issue or challenge supported by Canon’s imaging and printing products.
During the exhibition, Canon technology experts demonstrated to customers the five domains, each of which was highlighted at the Canon pavilion. While the domains are interconnected to offer a comprehensive set of business solutions, each one is customisable based on the customer’s requirements and industry.
Differentiate targets marketing solutions that enhance customer communications through innovative marketing tools that help generate demand and qualified leads, improve customer loyalty by producing personalised one-to-one communications, and develop multi-channel campaigns with maximum impact to differentiate businesses.
Accelerate optimises the internal flow of information through document management solutions. Businesses today deal with an explosion of data by handling more documents and information than ever before – all of which need to be accessed quickly both in the office and remotely, while also safeguarding information security. Canon’s innovative information and print management tools help both office-based and mobile workforce share documents more easily face to face, virtually or in print.
Transform provides business process management solutions for the digital office for a smarter, faster, cheaper and more secure work output. The applications within the Transform pillar improve the way businesses work by digitising key areas of business process management and cutting turn-around time. This is accomplished by either integrating the technologies and managing services, or by completely outsourcing the document processes to Canon.
Evolve offers innovative solutions for print services providers as the industry continues to evolve through digital production. As businesses in the print industry seek to differentiate from the competition, Canon developed a wide range of innovative products, services and applications that allow them to stand-out and enter new markets for more profitable revenue streams. These services also improve margins by boosting productivity and cutting costs.
Simplify has a series of out-of-the-box solutions that reduce complex and time-consuming administrative work, which is where productivity suffers. Canon’s office applications simplify day to day admin, leaving businesses free to focus on the tasks that really matter.
“Both governments and businesses in the Middle East are addressing digital transformation as a target for their organisations because of the obvious benefits – the UAE is a leading example through its Vision 2021 targets. Canon is able to meet customers ‘evolving digital needs by utilising our strong imaging heritage, our unsurpassed portfolio and our digital expertise, and passing on this confidence to customers to help them build better businesses through all stages of their digital transformation journey,” added Bakhour.
