Putting customers at the center, Huawei has been actively implementing the strategy of “quality first”, and thus generated many quality stories during research and development, design, production, testing and supplier management, showcasing HUAWEI’s principle of pursuing “zero defect”.
For the past three consecutive years, CBG has reported positive growth, setting its position as the third largest global smartphone manufacturer in terms of market share. However, growing competition and advances in innovation are pushing everyone in the industry to work harder to drive growth.
In response to these market dynamics, Mr. Pablo Ning, Vice President, Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia reiterated Huawei’s commitment to putting consumers at the center of its design philosophy, making quality a top priority.
Mr. Ning emphasized the importance of “end-to-end quality control as a critical success factor for Huawei’s consumer business. Quality is a vital part of Huawei’s future development and will enable Huawei to overcome fierce competition and achieve long-term and sustainable growth”.
The VP of Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia stressed on the point that, “Huawei will be following essential messages to shape its future. These messages emphasize Huawei’s consumer centered principle”. He added: “Huawei is committed to the idea that serving consumers would be the guiding principal for the new Huawei Consumer Business Group, and promised that every product should be guided by the needs and demands of its customers. Huawei will also focus on having its executive team in the front line in order to know what the problems are and how to solve them, to spend time there to truly understand the business, the customers and how they can improve. Huawei is always learning from other companies, in order to shape its brand future”.
Ning highlighted that “Huawei will absolutely never prioritize cost and profit over quality. Quality is always guaranteed at every step, including demand mining, strategic planning, product planning and design, supply chain management, raw material quality control, hardware research, development and innovation, software development, production, marketing, retailing and support. In short, Huawei does not see quality control from the traditional perspective. Instead, end-to-end quality control should be emphasized to deliver superior quality and valuable products for consumers”.
