Al Montazah Amusement and Waterpark, Sharjah’s premier leisure and tourist destination, kick-started its UAE 45th National Day celebrations today (Thursday) by giving all visitors and aqua-enthusiasts the opportunity to avail 45% celebratory discount on all entry tickets, as part of its celebration campaign which will extend until Saturday December 3rd, 2016.
The 3-day campaign includes a series of family-friendly and children-friendly activities suitable for all age groups, such as complimentary face painting and entertainment performances by Saeed and Baz, renowned comic characters appearing exclusively at Al Montazah.
All visitors at Al Montazah concluded their first day celebrations by receiving National Day giveaways – commemorating a fine remembrance of the special celebrations that are set to mark a significant day.
“UAE’s National Day celebrations is one of the most important countrywide events of the year. It is a wonderful reason for families all over the UAE to get together and enjoy a day out in the company of their loved ones. The first day celebrations experienced large visitor attendance to Al Montazah, which saw large families and children of various nationalities and age groups enjoying all our facilities, rides and various activities. Celebrating this period requires a warm, intimate and lively atmosphere which is why we continue on inviting families, visitors and tourists in the UAE to spend a day at Al Montazah to truly experience a memorable celebration in Sharjah,” said Khalid Al Qaseer, General Manager of Al Montazah.
Al Montazah Amusement and Water Park is Sharjah’s first-ever family entertainment destination, offering thrilling water rides and world-class leisure facilities. The park’s strategic location coupled with easy accessibility from other emirates, and the Sharjah Tourism Excellence Award 2014 recognising Al Montazah as the best new tourist destination in the emirate, has positioned it as one of the fastest growing destinations in the UAE.
In a bid to further enhance visitor experience, extension and development work at the park is currently underway, which will result in the inclusion of new rides and additional facilities.
