Virgin Mobile is celebrating one year of making mobile better in Saudi Arabia by offering sought after premium numbers at half price for a limited time.
All Virgin Mobile customers can also get up to double the credit they pay for, as well as free calls to other Virgin Mobile numbers during the celebration period.
Virgin Mobile launched its service on 14th November last year, pledging to make mobile better one phone and one plan at a time.
This is the first time any mobile company in Saudi Arabia has offered its sought-after prestigious gold and silver numbers at such a discount.
Virgin Mobile research has previously revealed that more than half of Saudi Arabia’s residents (56%) believe patterns of numbers hold particular meaning.
Virgin Mobile allows customers to choose from over 1 million numbers and book directly on its website at www.virginmobile.sa, making Virgin Mobile the only company in the Kingdom to offer a choice from such a vast number range.
Gold numbers, which come with a 4 month premium package, will cost SAR5,000. Silver numbers with a 3 month standard package will be available for SAR2,500.
Karim Benkirane, Chief Executive Officer of Virgin Mobile Saudi Arabia, said: “We could think of no better way to mark our first anniversary than kicking off with this special offer alongside a host of other great deals that that let our customers know we value them.

As part of the celebration, members buying SAR100 or SAR50 credit get double the amount they paid for every time. All pre-paid customers topping up will also receive free calls to other Virgin Mobile numbers.
For the first time ever in Saudi Arabia, Virgin Mobile members will be able to redeem the free credit for any combination they want of data bundles, local calls, SMS or Pay As You Go Data, giving customers real choice and value.
Jarir, a Virgin Mobile partner, will give all customers buying a smart phone priced 700 riyals or less a free prepaid number with 25 SAR credit.
