Van Cleef & Arpels Maison celebrates the art of High Jewelry at the VII edition of the most anticipated art exhibition in the Kingdom, 21,39 Jeddah Arts. Organized by the Saudi Art Council commencing from 26th January 2020, in the thriving city of Jeddah, this year’s event under the theme of “I Love You, Urgently” focuses on the environmental concerns and places the youth at the core of this exhibition. Whilst shedding light on the creative realm of Jewelry and Watchmaking, the French Maison, for the fifth time in a row in collaboration with Jeddah Arts, will act as a catalyst on engaging with Saudi artists, designers and thinkers to showcase their talent and creativity.
Commenting on this event, Alessandro Maffi, Van Cleef & Arpels Managing Director Middle East and India, says, “Participating in this new edition of 21,39 Jeddah Arts continues to strengthen the Maison’s promise in supporting the local art and design scene of the Kingdom. This exclusive exhibition will be the occasion to celebrate designers and encourage creativity, art and passion in the Middle East, whilst welcoming the connoisseurs into the universe of Van Cleef & Arpels’ High Jewelry creations,” he concluded.
In keeping with its longstanding commitment to nurturing talented and ambitious designers across the region, Van Cleef & Arpels has collaborated with various art organizations and wholeheartedly supported local talent and illustrated the remarkable craftsmanship and savoir-faire of its Master Jewelers at such exhibitions. The Maison has successfully collaborated with organizations like Tashkeel, who provide a nurturing environment for the growth of contemporary art and design practice. The Middle East Emergent Design Prize is one such platform given to upcoming artists and designers, who are encouraged to experiment and engage in the most creative ways with the larger audiences.
