Designed to cement Cadillac’s commitment to offering its performance-minded drivers a more rewarding track driving experience, the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) essentially records high-definition video – with data overlays – of your driving experiences on and off the track, enabling data analysis and sharing on social media.
The front-view camera captures each curve and straightaway, and when parked, lets you watch and analyze your driving performance on the Cadillac CUE screen. Or you can save the footage on the SD card to watch or share your performance later.
The cutting-edge PDR system was developed with Cosworth, the British motorsports-engineering company that supplies General Motors’ Racing Teams with data acquisition and telemetry systems.

Additionally, the system also collect over 140 data streams for the car’s various modules. Most of this data, such as tire pressure and temperature, G-force, steering input, and precise information about gearbox and engine performance can be viewed alongside the video and GPS tracking feeds through the free Cosworth toolbox software. It allows keen owners to optimize cars settings and driver performance.
The more track oriented customers can have full access to all the data if they purchase the full package software, a similar version of which is used by Cadillac Racing.
