Travel agencies and accommodation providers in Al-Jouf region have come under the spotlight as part of a series of inspections by Saudi tourism officials.
The Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage (SCTH) in Al-Jouf has been conducting surveillance tours to monitor the standard of services being offered to residents and visitors.
Yasser bin Ibrahim Al-Ali, SCTH director general in Al-Jouf, said the tourist establishments inspected included hotels, furnished residential units, hostels, travel agencies and tour operators. He added that the inspection trips aimed to ensure that quality standards were being met.
