The Heritage Middle East Museum and Exhibition Technologies Fair and Conference 2019 Opens in Abu Dhabi with a Focus on Culture & Arts

The first ever Heritage Middle East Museum and Exhibition Technologies Fair & Conference 2019 of the Middle East commenced today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), Abu Dhabi, highlighting heritage, culture and arts from the UAE, the GCC region, and from around the world. 

 

The three-day show was inaugurated by the Project Creator of Heritage Projects, Murat Atuk and the Director of Heritage Projects, Osman Murat Akan. Visitors were enthralled by special programs on Scenographic Design and panel discussions featuring Khaled Tadmori, Elected Member of the City Council of Tripoli & Chairman of Heritage & Historical Monuments Sub-Committee, and Mysoon Abdul Alnahar, Archaeologist of the University of Jordan. Exhibitions and activities at the expo transformed into a meeting point of the companies and organizations that shape the cultural heritage in Middle East and the museum industry in the world. 

 

In addition, the platform posed as the perfect opportunity to gain insight into the artistic transformation and cultural renaissance of Abu Dhabi, especially with the launch of the unique Saadiyat Cultural District project that includes Louvre Abu Dhabi, Zayed National Museum, and Guggenheim Abu Dhabi, an architectural marvel designed by Pritzker prize winning designers. Abu Dhabi is expected to become the capital of the world culture in 10 to 15 years with the support of United Arab Emirates (UAE) and other governments of Dubai which is the center of world trade.

 

As a significant market and international meeting point, the show assures that B2B meetings are more productive and offers participants a new and professional environment.  

 

Heritage Middle East 2019 attracts thousands of attendees, including 70+ exhibitors spanning global museums, museum curators, engineers, art historians, conservators and professionals of culture and art.
