Literally, the “baby” of the Caboodle brand, Droplets by Caboodle is a ‘water inspired’ play space dedicated to younger toddlers and children designed to encourage creativity, interaction and imagination – all while having fun.

Parents can watch their babies get inspired, curious and live out their imaginations as they play alongside them or relax over a  coffee whilst being only a “hug away” from their little ones.

Child-friendly play zone 

Caboodle is an exciting indoor play world for young children, focusing on education and entertainment through activities and creative play. 

Ideal for children aged 6 months to 12 years of age, Caboodle’s facilities include soft play, mini city, climbing pit, jungle gym, arts & crafts, and more. They can also look their best with Caboodle’s expert stylists in the destination’s dedicated children’s salon.

Alfresco play at The Galleria’s Family Park

Why not make the most of this month’s incredible weather by spending time at The Galleria’s rooftop Family Park. Kids can get creative, learn and play in a fun and safe environment.

Shaded seating areas and tables are the perfect place for parents to enjoy an al fresco iced coffee while they watch their young ones play and create memorable moments. The Family Park is located close to the food court on level 2 and can be directly accessed through the South Car Park elevators. 

Teen entertainment destination

Xtreme Zone offers a host of interactive activities including the bouncy and fun Trampoline Park; the Challenging Climbing Walls for enthusiastic children; Arcade Games, bowling, billiards and a host of fun games for everyone. 

Catch a movie with the family

Calling all movie buffs, adventure and plenty of family friendly movies will be screening at VOX Cinemas this December such as Wonder Woman 1984, Two Tails, The Croods: A New Age, and Cats and Dogs: Paws Unite.

The Galleria’s VOX Cinemas is home to the only immersive laser IMAX in the city along with an elevated Theatre by Rhodes experience and spacious, colourful and exciting KIDS experiences. 

Moviegoers will be spoilt for choice with the countless delicious options from Pizza Al Taglio, The Nutella Bar and VOX Cinemas’ home-grown café concept – Kitchen 35.

BIG WISHES this year? 

Children of all ages stand a chance to have their holiday wishes come true by sending Santa a letter with a wish list of their most-coveted gifts from their favourite stores at The Galleria; Kiddos will definitely get creative in listing the many ways they’ve been good this year.

Head to the Winter Village on Ground Level or Central Kitchens on Level 3 to take part in the ‘Letters to Santa’; 10 lucky children will have a wish come true on a weekly basis at The Galleria. 

NEW this year: the festive themed sensory rooms

Think of your favourite holiday smell, candy canes, gingerbread or even cinnamon – it’s there! 

Located on the Link Bridge, Level 2 by the food court, guests can look forward to visiting the joyful festive sensory rooms, embellished with candy canes, gingerbread, and cinnamon sticks. Bringing to Abu Dhabi the true essence of the winter season, family and friends can immerse themselves in delightful aromas bound to put anyone in the festive mood. 

Look out for the friendly polar bears and snowmen, who provide a perfect backdrop to those festive selfies to send family around the world. 

A Winter Wonderland EXTRAVAGANZA

Bringing a touch of magical seasonal fun to the heart of the city, families will be blown away with extraordinary seasonal décor. Santa and his reindeer soar above the Central Atrium, glimmering prancing reindeer and wreath chandeliers create magical surroundings in The Galleria’s Luxury Collection, and a 4 metre stag and giant red baubles adorn the main entrances. 

Guests can even look forward to posing with roaming gift boxes and gingerbread men, an extravagant nine-metre tree and activities little ones will love, like Letters to Santa and the Festive Sensory Rooms.

All that fun will surely have kids working up an appetite! 

For the hungry little ones

Little ones are in for a treat with the Kids Eat Free promotion at The Galleria Al Maryah Island. Experience some quality family time and indulge in a wide range of dining outlets running from Sunday to Thursday until 30 December 2020. 

With promotions at over 20 family restaurants, casual dining outlets and ice creameries, kids are guaranteed a delightful culinary experience with a variety of scrumptious dining outlets offering a FREE kid’s meal alongside any adult meal purchased.  Families can choose from participating outlets including P.F. Chang’s, La Brioche, Taqado, Nolu’s, Eat Greek, Bombay Canteen, Royal Orchid, Bn Café, Sushi Art, Tortilla, Biryani Pot, LPM Restaurant & Bar, and Charley’s Philly Steaks.

That’s not all. Diners of all ages (looking at you parents) will be able to get their FREE desserts when a menu item is purchased at Wonderbee, Joga, Loca, Coffee Hat and Maison Samira Maatouk.
