Under the patronage of his Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority, the UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai 2015) kicks off this Tuesday. AEEDC in its 19th edition is held at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre with a total number of 6 halls dedicated to the exhibition, and 6 halls dedicated to the conference and scientific activities. AEEDC Dubai is considered to be the largest dental conference & exhibition in the Middle East, North Africa, and South Asia and the second largest in the world. AEEDC Dubai witnesses every year a huge number of participation of regional and international officials, professional and business delegations.

In this context, Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of AEEDC Dubai and the Global Scientific Dental Alliance said: “Dubai is a major hub for the events industry in the region as it attracts the most prestigious scientific, cultural and trade conferences and exhibitions. The emirate of Dubai is renowned by the outstanding infrastructure and excellent reputation among the Middle East and is now the meeting point for all trade and economic pioneers from the region. Moreover, the UAE highly invested in this industry while creating a perfect environment for all exhibitors and organizers which successfully has a positive impact on the national economy and promoted the medical tourism. In addition, investing in the events industry shed the light on the big projects in Dubai and its infrastructure while promoting the endless facilities that eh emirate provide for investors which in return encourage the big companies to invest in Dubai.”

From his side, Dr. Nasser Al Malik, scientific chairman said: “AEEDC is currently ranked as the second biggest dental event in the world. Our main goal is to provide the best there is in dental education and in dental exhibitions. We aim to link together all possible aspects of dental care, education, manufacturing, dental care delivery, and so on. When you provide such infinite possibilities of interactions on your event’s platform, you will elevate your status naturally, to become number 1.”
“It does take hard work to be in the number 1 place, so I think we have more work to be done to be worthy of such a rank, and believe me when I tell you: we are working hard on it!” added Dr. Nasser.

AEEDC’s agenda for this year features a number of intensive scientific activities which include: the GCC Preventive Dentistry Conference, AEEDC Advanced Specialty Courses, Poster and Oral Poster Presentations, the 6th AEEDC Student Competition, the Global Scientific Dental Alliance Meeting, and the AEEDC Dubai Awards.
AEEDC Dubai 2015 is also embracing a number of new activities every year for the benefit of national and international participating dentists who come to Dubai for this particular purpose. The conference will include the Arabian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry Session – ARAED, Dental Education Session – Classical Vs. Modern Educational Methods, Seminar on dentistry with its various specialties in French language session (Stomatologie Aujourd'hui Session), International Symposium on Olympic and Sport Dentistry, and a special seminar for the latest in implantology in cooperation with DentalXP.
UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition (AEEDC Dubai 2015) will continue until 19th of February and is organized by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions a member of INDEX Holding.
