Emirates Classification Society “Tasneef” signed its second cooperation agreement with “Tawazun Dynamics” which provides various and continuous solutions that serve the high precision targeting ammunitions sector ranging from design to manufacturing through supply and maintenance.
The integrated logistical support provided by Tasneef to Tawazun Dynamics will help ensure the compatibility of Tawazun Dynamic’s products with the requirements of “Abu Dhabi Occupational Health and Safety Center (OSHAD)”. In this occasion, Eng. Rashed AlHebsi, CEO of Tasneef said “this agreement aims to raise the level of national capacities and enable Tawazun Dynamics to receive the national accreditation of OSHAD through preparing an integrated system that provides safe and healthy work spaces and keep up with the plans and programs of comprehensive development in line with the best international standards”.
AlHebsi added “the first agreement between Tasneef and Tawazun Dynamics has been signed on 6th of August 2014, which aimed to raise the efficiency of security, quality and safety within specific sectors in Tawazun towards reaching compatibility with the requirements of OSHAD ; after Tasneef’s support for Tawazun Dynamics, it was able to successfully receive the center’s accreditation but, for this accreditation to be sustainable there was a need to sign the new agreement which can be considered an extension of the 2014 agreement”.
On his part, Eng. Suod AlHammadi, Defense Projects Manager at Tasneef said “this agreement aims to raise the efficiency of safety and security at Tawazun Dynamics. Tasneef considers this agreement as a national company supporting another national company to contribute towards providing a safer community through the implementation of an integrated system for occupational health and safety in workspaces which to be achieved through enacting the legal and legislative tools in the field of occupational health and safety and an active implementation of the requirements of capacity-building and promoting the concept of occupational health and safety”.
AlHammadi strongly praised the relationship and cooperation between companies and national institutions to support the process of development and national capacity-building. He also emphasized that Tasneef supports national arms through training and giving confidence and opportunities to them to highlight skills and build expertise. “Tasneef is ready to support and assist all authorities in all areas of consulting and technical and logistical support to continue the journey of success and leadership through ensuring the compatibility of the system’s specific requirements with the requirements of concerned authorities and the preparation and development of necessary plans to upgrade occupational systems in national institutions,” added AlHammadi
AlHebsi also confirmed that “this agreement also aims to review and adopt OSHAD’s systems in Tawazun Dynamics in accordance with the system’s requirements through controlling the process of implementing the system’s requirements by Tasneef via inspection and auditing as well as the adoption of plans and programs to reduce risk. The agreement also aims to develop and adopt system-related training programs to raise the capabilities of all occupational health and safety practitioners; the preparation, development and implementation of awareness programs relevant to occupational health and safety; the development of a strategic partnership between the two national institutions and provide all the information and official publications between Tasneef and Tawazun Dynamics”.
