Sony Professional launches two new medical monitors, the LMD-2735MD and LMD-2435MD that offer full HD resolution for medical professionals.
The two monitors are equipped with interfaces that can be used in various situations besides surgery. Two screen sizes, 24 inch (LMD-2435MD) and 27 inch (LMD-2475MD), are available in the slim and compact design to meet space constraints at medical institutions.
Main Features of LMD-2735MD and LMD-2435MD
1. High Picture Quality
The HD full-resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS LCD displays with LED backlight meet the image quality required at medical scenes. The color temperature settings have the new option of D56 in addition to D93 (standard) and D65.
2. Suitable and Sufficient Number of Input Terminals for Medical Use
The monitors have one input terminal per Composite video, S Video, Analog RGB/Component, HD (SD)-SDI, and DVI-D. The DVI-D terminal is equipped with a thru/out function. The external control terminals (RS-232C and Ethernet) enable system integrations allowing image-source switching at hospital operation rooms.
3. Slim and Compact Design
They have a slim design with a depth of 78 mm, which is complimented with large displays. The easy-to-hold design enables users to adjust the monitor position easily.
4. Mechanical Design suitable to Use at Medical Scenes
The fan-less design enables silent operation and less air circulation. In addition to the standard AC power supply, DC supply is available when the optional AC adaptor, AC-120MD, is used. The edge-to-edge flush surfaced design makes it resistant to dirt accumulation and easy to wipe, facilitating hygienic use.
5. Easy Operations and Rich Display Functions
Operation buttons are positioned at the easy-to-operate lower front part of the monitors. The operation buttons emit light to guide the operator to the next available buttons. A variety of display modes useful for medical scenes, such as Rotated and Mirror Images, and Picture-in-Picture, can be selected.
