Siemens introduces Student Industry Training at its Innovation Center in Qatar

Siemens Innovation Center at Qatar Science & Technology Park is hosting eight young talents from Texas A&M University in Qatar. The eight Engineering Enrichment Program students are participating in a three-day Siemens SITRAIN Totally Integrated Automation Portal Course designed to strengthen their industrial experience. The undergraduate students are the first group to receive the innovative, hands-on training program, sponsored by Siemens in Qatar.

The Innovation Center Qatar is a close partner of the Qatari academic scene and supports local capacity-building initiatives in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030. The opportunity is a unique experience for local students who wish to enter the industry upon graduation, providing them with skills that will positively impact their future academic and career paths. The students will receive their certificates of completion at a ceremony at Texas A&M University in Qatar today, attended by Dr. Peter Tollkuehn, Siemens Middle East Chief Technology Officer (CFO), and university representatives.
