Shaza Makkah celebrated International Women’s Day on 8 March 2019 with a full programme of activities centred in the exclusive Shalimar Lounge. On entering the lobby all female guests, resident and visiting, were welcomed with a pink rose as a gesture symbolising support for women’s rights and in appreciation of their contribution to Saudi society. In addition all paying ladies were allowed to bring a guest free of charge.
