The Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA) has launched one of its biggest recruitment roadshows for citizens in the hospitality sector with more than 2,000 jobs on offer.
SCTA, in collaboration with the Human Resource Development Fund and the National System for Joint Training, has launched recruitment interviews all over the Kingdom on different dates. The interviews will be aimed at Saudi youth interested in the hospitality sector and will be carried out by SCTA’s affiliate Tourism Human Resources Development Center in Takamul.

“The recruitment interviews confirm SCTA’s keenness to promote service quality levels in the hospitality sector by providing national qualified personnel,” stressed Nasir bin Abdul Aziz Al-Nashmi, Takamul’s acting director general, adding that the work interviews began Sunday at Riyadh’s Holiday Inn.
Al-Nashmi also praised SCTA’s efforts to work out a sustainable tourism development plan.
The recruitment roadshow’s next stop will at the Jeddah Intercontinental Hotel from Feb. 5 to 9.

The team’s last stop will be at Crown Plaza Hotel in Madinah and Carlton Al-Moaibed Hotel in Dammam on Feb. 11 to 12.
Al-Nashmi pointed out that Prince Sultan bin Salman, president of SCTA, is paying great attention to the recruitment processes and is currently supporting Takamul’s activities. These efforts implement the country’s bid to increase local and international tourism, since the Kingdom is investing heavily on tourism-targeted infrastructure projects.
“The commanding directives of SCTA’s president reaffirm its commitment to support job creation programs in the tourism sector, considered the second economic sector in terms of Saudization rates” he underscored.

“Moreover,” Al-Nashmi added, “it is one of the largest economic sectors providing job opportunities worldwide.”
