The Saudi Company for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI), wholly owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has announced its strategic alliance with Saudi Telecom Company (stc) and Saudi Technology and Security Comprehensive Control Company (Tahakom) for their collaboration on the launch of the “Sawaher” platform, a program initiated by The Saudi Data & AI Authority (SDAIA), in addition to establishing executive office. The program aimed to elevate the level of safety across the Kingdom’s cities by harnessing AI technologies and smart analytics capabilities.
A memorandum in this regard has been signed during the two-day Global Smart City Forum, that concluded today, by Eng. Abdelaziz Al Muammar, the CEO for SCAI, Eng. Riad Saeed Moawad, the CEO for the STC group business unit, and Eng. Mohammed Mansour Al-Barak the Deputy Chief for business development and partnerships at the Saudi Security Comprehensive Control Company (Tahakom).
Sawaher platform is a result of the responsible adoption and effective integration of AI developed solutions and smart analytics cameras. The agreement also incorporates the development of a central platform capable of analyzing the visual data to identify and anticipate any potential risks and reinforce safety across the Kingdom’s cities.
