SAUDIA, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Broadcasting Authority (SBA) that paves the way for cooperation between the two entities. The agreement includes joint training initiatives and projects that serve the community and achieve the goals of both companies.
The MoU was signed by Mr. Essam Akhonbay, Vice President of Marketing and Product Management at SAUDIA, and Eng. Hatem bin Mohammed Nour Abu Nassif, Assistant Chief Engineering Officer at the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, to develop a framework of cooperation focused on TV and radio broadcasting, as well as media production.
Mr. Essam Akhonbay said: “SAUDIA is keen to expand its partnerships with various companies within the country to contribute to the exchange of benefits and knowledge sharing. This MoU comes as part of SAUDIA’s efforts to maximize the quality of joint outputs and initiatives. It will help SAUDIA and SBA lock in sponsorship agreements for developmental, community and technical activities, as well as specialized training courses.”
Meanwhile, Eng. Hatem bin Muhammad Noor Abu Nassif said: “The MoU signed by SAUDIA and SBA will serve more than one purpose, the first of which is strengthening relations and cooperation between the two parties, as they will benefit from each other’s experiences and their common interests. The agreement will also play a role in improving services and relevant skills, in addition to exploring opportunities for cooperation between the two parties.”
