Saudi Post signed a cooperation agreement with Etihad Etisalat (Mobily) Tuesday morning to market and sell Mobily’s products and services during this year Hajj. Products include SIM Cards for voice and data packages, Hajj and Umrah package, mobile devices and prepaid cards in all Saudi Post’s branches in Makkah, Jeddah and Medina.
The Agreement was signed by Saudi Post for Investment Vice President Mohammed Al-Abdul Jabbar and Mr. Hamdan Al Anazi, Executive General Manager Procurement, signed the agreement on behalf of Mobily in the presence of Majid Al Battal, SEO Consumer Sales & Distribution, and Abdullah Alattas, General Manager Sales Planning & Development at Mobily and Marketing Department General Manager in Saudi Post Abdulrahman Al-Dhaban.
On this occasion, Engineer Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Abduljabbar praised Mobily’s professional collaboration and its important role in the development of telecommunications sector in the Kingdom and that the Agreement comes within the Saudi Post policy (The Cooperation with leading companies in many sectors to promote postal services provided to citizens and visitors in all regions of the Kingdom, it also supports Saudi Post to provide multiple innovative services during the Hajj season which will help pilgrims, citizens and residents in Makkah and Medina, in addition to different parties participating in this year Hajj season and transients at border crossing points.
AlabdulJabbar Confirmed, Saudi Post has prepared a detailed plan for this year's pilgrimage which starts in the middle of Thu Alqeda until the middle of Muharram, More than 30 through the stations in the holy sites.
From his part Mr. Majid Albattal said that “we are proud to sign this agreement with Saudi Post (a national institution which achieved remarkable development) and aims to strengthen sales channels for our products and services. As we seek good planning for the Hajj season, especially since sales plan are our priorities so we are confident in the capabilities of Saudi post to facilitate Mobiliy products to pilgrims.
Mr. Albattal added that Mobily is always keen to harness all its services, human and technical resources to serve the pilgrims, and to work together with the various governmental and private sectors, in order to reach the noble and honorable goal of serving the pilgrims especially since the development of services provided during Hajj and Umrah seasons is one of the Kingdom transformation pillars in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030.
It is worth noting that Mobily has provided all the necessary equipment to the Saudi Post sites allocated for service providing in Jeddah, Mecca and Medina, in addition to appropriate training for their employees to ensure the ease and speed of service delivery.
