Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health’s 937 call center has received more than 20 million calls since the beginning of the current year, Saudi Press Agency reported on Thursday citing a statement from the ministry.
The ministry stated that its call center provided unlimited services during this period, the statement read.
Of the total calls, the helpline center received 5.1 million calls for medical consultations, 1.3 million for reports, 5.4 million for general inquiries, 1.4 million for booking appointments at healthcare centers and two million coronavirus inquiries.
The call center, which is operated by more than 3,000 customer service specialists and doctors, provides a 24-hour services through its various channels.
It also provides several services including medical consulting, appointment reservation at primary healthcare centers, anti-smoking clinic appointments and technical support for MoH e-applications.
