Saudi Arabia wins West Asian Youth Championship

The 16-year-old Saudi team was crowned champion of the West Asian Junior Football Championship in Jordan.
In the presence of Saudi Ambassador Prince Khalid bin Faisal bin Turki Al Saud, the Secretary of the West Asian Union Khalil Al-Salem distributed gold medals to the Saudi team, silver medals for the Jordanian team, bronze for the Syrian team and the Saudi Cup for the team.
The Saudi team had won the title last Tuesday, after beating Syria 3-0, and the Jordanian team 3-1 in the second round of the championship, after the group issued in the first round full mark.
