Saudi ambassador opens KSA-funded hospital ICU in Beirut

The Kingdom’s ambassador to Lebanon, Walid bin Abdullah Bukhari, performed the official opening of a new Saudi-funded hospital intensive care unit in Beirut.

The specialist medical center at Al-Makassed General Hospital, will house state-of-the-art equipment which will provide patients with the very latest advances in health care technology.

The newly named Riyadh Intensive Care Unit was expanded, renovated and equipped with the aid of money donated by Saudi Arabia.

During his inauguration address, Bukhari highlighted the Kingdom’s work in countries around the world funding aid and relief programs.

Dr. Faisal Senno, president of the council of Al-Makassed Philanthropic Islamic Association of Beirut, expressed his sincere thanks and gratitude to Saudi Arabia.

Those attending the inauguration were given a tour of the new intensive care center
