Sarah-Jane Grant to speak on ‘The future of F&B design in hotels’

Dubai, UAE, 21st April 2017 - LXA, the award-winning hospitality interior design consultancy with offices in London and Dubai, is delighted to announce its participation in The Arabian Hotel Investment Conference 2017 (AHIC). This prestigious event returns for its 13th year, taking place at the Madinat Jumeirah Dubai, 25 – 27 April 2017.

The three-day summit is supported by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Airports, President of Dubai Dept for Civil Aviation and Chairman and CEO of Emirates, and aims to provide a sound knowledge of the present condition in the hotel investment industry and provides suggestions for future development. The event remains the Middle East’s annual meeting place for the region’s most senior hotel investors, developers, operators and advisors for a series of discussions chaired by a diverse line-up of high caliber speakers representing prestigious names in the industry.  AHIC consistently provides a platform to meet like-minded professionals across hotel & hospitality development within the MENA region.

As a highly respected member of the F&B and hospitality community Sarah-Jane Grant, Partner at LXA, has been invited to share insights on ‘The Hotel of the Future’.  The presentation will take place on Tuesday 25th April from 7pm.

With over 10 years of success in the hospitality and commercial sector, and a combined wealth of experience across a diverse range of projects for the world’s leading hoteliers and restaurant operators, LXA has established itself as one of the leading interior design and project management companies in the region. In the UAE, recent projects have included the design and management of Novotel Health Care City and Premier Inn Al Jadaf. In the UK, LXA has worked with the many of the world’s leading hoteliers including Hilton, Accor, Hyatt, IHG and H10. They are now currently working with Wyndham on their next generation of hotels.

Sarah-Jane Grant, Director of the Dubai office, said: “Hotels are constantly challenged to evolve to adapt to changing consumer expectations. They are no longer considered places to just eat and sleep, but representative of lifestyles that are interwoven into the cultural, social and business fabric of their location. With hotels prepared to invest into F&B experiences, restaurant design has to highlight and communicate this, while keeping in mind the need for operational functionality. The most successful dining experiences seamlessly bring together the environment and the experience into a unique space.  There is no more traditional single way of thinking when it comes creating and designing F&B outlets of the future and I’m delighted to be discussing the topic in some detail at AHIC.”
