Samsung honors UAE's Frontline Workers

Frontline healthcare sector workers across the country will be eligible for discounted screen services on select models and a cashback promotion through the Samsung eStore

Samsung Gulf Electronics today announced a new initiative, 'Honoring Frontline Workers,' across the United Arab Emirates to support doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and medical technicians. The campaign, beginning August 2 and running through August 15, 2020, will offer frontline workers a discounted screen repair service at a nominal fee and cashback rewards through the Samsung eStore. The initiative directed at honoring all essential medical personnel will be Samsung’s priority in the coming weeks in recognition of their ongoing invaluable contributions to the residents of the UAE. During this period, eligible customers can benefit from the service offer by registering through the Samsung Call Center (800-Samsung).

"Frontline workers and those fundamental to the seamless continuation of the country's healthcare sector have always demonstrated care, love, and affection for patients and our community’s most vulnerable members," said Osman Albora, Head of Mobile Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics. “At the same time, their passion and relentless altruism have saved countless lives, bringing communities and the country even closer together. Now is the time for us to give back to these remarkable individuals by showing our appreciation for their efforts and the value they have offered to the country. We are therefore proud to support these heroes through our ‘Honoring Frontline Workers’ initiative.”

The initiative will offer frontline workers a cashback reward and a nominal charge of AED 200 for Samsung Galaxy S and Samsung Galaxy Note Series devices and AED 100 for Samsung Galaxy A Series for screen repair services, on selected models.

The initiative is available exclusively through Samsung Service Plaza  (CSP)  and Major Service Centers (MSC) in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. To benefit from the offer, customers must present a valid identification demonstrating that they are frontline workers, at which time their devices will be repaired.
