Rotana, one of the leading hotel management companies in the Middle East, Africa, and Turkey, has announced the opening date of its latest hotel addition in Jeddahunder the “Centro by Rotana” brand. Officially opening in September, Centro Salama is the second hotel to open in Jeddah and the fifth in the Kingdom. The new hotel comes as part of the group’s strategic plan to expand the Kingdom’s hospitality market and seize opportunities offered by this growing and booming sector.

Centro Salama reflects Rotana’s vision of modern hospitality by combining premium services and high quality to meet the needs of business travellers and families alike. Only 15 minutes away from King Abdulaziz International Airport, the hotel is characterized by its strategic location in the heart of Jeddah on Al Madinah Road, which is surrounded by business districts, shopping malls and entertainment centers.

The “Centro by Rotana” brand offers quality and chic hotel services at affordable prices, in addition to combining modern elegance and stylish experiences.

Centro Salama’s opening endorses Rotana’s continuous support for the Kingdom’s tourism sector; acting as a direct and effective contribution towards achieving the goals of the Kingdom’s ambitious Vision 2030. This is particularly significant due to the imminent opening date of the new King Abdulaziz International Airport, which is expected to serve 100 million travelers annually.

In light of forecasts predicting that religious tourism will attract more than 30 million pilgrims by 2030 and that the Kingdom’s GDP will witness an increased contribution of 300 billion SAR from the tourism industry by 2026, Rotana Hotel Management confirms its commitment to assisting with the Saudi economy growth. The group will support the tourism and hospitality sectors in the Kingdom through the allocation of 1,150 hotel rooms offering the highest hospitality standards; supporting its current portfolio in the Kingdom of five distinguished, modern hotels in the major cities of Saudi Arabia.
