Red Sea Mall Silver Sponsors the Retail Leaders Circle, Middle East and North Africa

Red Sea Mall one of the leading malls within the retail industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, participated in the 6th edition of the Retail Leaders Circle in the Middle East and North Africa, that was held on the 10th and 11th of February at the Fairmont hotel on the Business gate in Riyadh. The event held under the patronage of H.E Dr. Majid Bin Abdullah Al Qasabi the Minister of Commerce and Investment in the KSA, in cooperation with the General Investment Authority/Invest in Saudi Arabia, and in the presence of a group of local, regional and international leaders.

A delegation from Red Sea Mall headed by Eng. Al Rayan Gadouri the General Manager, Abdulraouf Al Hafez the Senior Marketing Manager, Luai AlNajjar the Chief Financial Officer, Walid Al Shehri the leasing Director, Ahmed Mahboub the ERP& Digital Platforms Manager, and Omar Maghazwi the Marketing supervisor and group of representatives attended and participated with the discussion panels, re-emphasizing on the support that the mall rewarded to the “Retail Leaders Circle, Middle East and North Africa as the silver sponsor of the event. 

Under the slogan of “Future Retail and Consumer- Thriving in a Changing Environment”, participants discussed the important issues and the changing scenes of the Retail and Consumption sector across the Kingdom and the region.  

Eng. Al Rayan Gadouri, GM of Red Sea Mall touched on the fast-paced changes that affect the relation between retailers and owners, as retailers tend to reconsider their investment portfolio and better utilize their stores in the future, to achieve the best experiences that can be provided to shoppers that will accordingly benefit the tenants/brands. “It is with all our pleasure to support and participate with “RLC, Middle East and North Africa”, to discuss among a group of elite economists and leaders the most important issues and developments in the retail sector. Red Sea Mall has contributed in upscaling the Retail sector from different perspectives, especially by providing a one destination for shopping and entertainment, that helped provide new job opportunities by launching multiple programs most notable: the productive families and other programs on the National level”, said Eng. Gadouri. 

Red Sea Mall representatives highlighted different issues related to remodeling the shopping centers in the future. They elaborated on the tremendous changes that retail centers are witnessing in terms of resources, distribution, market force and technology. 

Eng. Gadouri also pointed out the diversity of requirements and the audience trends who prefer physical shopping and those who prefer online shopping. He also stressed on the importance of physical shopping that provides shoppers with broad prospects in taking purchasing decisions.

The “Retail Leaders Circle, Middle East and North Africa” first convention in Saudi Arabia was a suitable occasion to highlight the Kingdom’s plans to be positioned at the forefront of businesses, investments and retail business, inline with the 2030 vision that is represented in the diversification of the Economy and the facilitation of businesses as a priority, as well as attracting direct foreign investments as an added-value.
