Prince Fahd’s contributions commended

Crown Prince Muqrin, deputy premier, graced a ceremony organized by the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) and Saudi Arabian Airlines here Monday to honor Prince Fahd bin Abdullah, former chairman of Saudia’s board of directors and president of GACA, for his contributions to strengthen the Kingdom’s civil aviation.

Sulaiman Al-Hamdan, president of GACA and chairman of Saudia, thanked Prince Muqrin for finding time to attend the event despite his busy itinerary. He said the demand for air transport is expected to double by 2030 from 30 million to 60 million flights with number of passengers jumping from three to six billion.
